if you like to use turn-by-turn GPS navigation software while driving. you can choose some gps software for your Blackberry bold. I know that both BlackBerry Bold Garmin and TeleNav gps softwares use the same atlas, so as far as one having a better map, then they are the same. With the Garmin software I believe you have to use their GPS unit. That is why I didn’t use them.

There is another gps product that is excellent, and that is MapQuest Navigator. my friend use it on his BlackBerry 8700g (with separate GPS unit). It costs $50 per year, which is about half of TeleNav gps.

There is a free GPS for BlackBerry Bold that hasnt given me any troubles. It is a little slow but its worth it since its free. its called amAze GPS. Finds everything quickly and gives you prompt voice turn by turn directions. you can also download google maps, it is free. it is aslo an good replacement of BlackBerry bold gps software.
