Blackberry Curve GPS and internet access problem. if we want to use BlackBerry Curve step by step GPS, we should have an intenert access data plan, as this is how it receives & transfers data from/to your BlackBerry curve phone. The GPS radio inside the BlackBerry is available without a data plan. However, the applications that use GPS typically require a data plan. A GPS simply pinpoints your location. However, in order to get directions from point A to point B you need an application that takes advantage of the GPS. That is what usually requires a data plan of some sort. for example, you can get Desktop Manager from the T-mobile website and that will let you add applications, including Google Maps..
