When pairing a Garmin gps device with your mobile phone or computer via Bluetooth, you will be asked to enter a Passkey.A Bluetooth Passkey is a numeric key that is used to create a pairing between two Bluetooth enabled devices. Depending on your device, the Passkey may be referred to as a Pin or Passcode. The Passkey for any Garmin device is the same. When asked to enter a Passkey, enter ’1234′.

If using Garmin software on your phone or computer with a third party GPS from another manufacturer, the Passkey may be different, or they may not be a Passkey at all. you can consult your GPS’s documentation for more information.
