Garmin nuvi 200 troubleshooting. problem about Garmin nuvi 200 gps navigator , when i am in route and following what my garmin nuvi 200 gps says, then i get off route (because i know a different way to go) why does my gps stay on the other route and never reroute or recalculate? how do i fix that? .

it fixed itself after i turned garmin gps off then turned it back on, but i dont want to do that every time!
First of all the problem is you got a garmin there notorious for calculating very slow I would return it, and get a TomTom with split second rerouting, you’ll just have to bring it back say you didn’t like it and buy a better gps navigator anyway ,I’m not a big fan of garmin lately seems like thay just sending them out on the market before testing them
