want to buy handheld GPS device where I can enter coordinates for geocaching

i have a eXplorist 210. it will down load geocashs from the web site and save all the information about that geocach and even have the hints in the GPS.

it comes with a cable to connect to your pc and some software too. there is also some free software on line you can use also.

i choose the 210 because it was black and white. in the sunshine a color screen is not easy to see. its cheap also. the battery life is great. i got some 2500 nickle-metal hydride batteries from walmarts. it uses 2 i bought 4 i can use 2 and carry 2. this works great.

i love to geocach. or geocaching you will need a dgps as it is more accurate
Almost every handheld GPS has the function where you can enter coordinates by hand. I’ve used a Garmin eTrex Legend and GPSMAP 76CSx as well as a Magellan SporTrak Pro and eXplorist 400. Tall had the capability to enter coordinates by hand and could use the coordinates downloaded from geaocaching.com.
