handheld gps for cities while walking or traveling? if you go to travel in different cities you have never been. usually a good handheld gps will help you walk or ride the bus to destinations.

what handheld GPS unit have detailed cities maps all over world? garmin, tomtom or lowrance? but I’m not sure what type to get or what else I should buy with it so that I can see all the streets in the city and not get lost.

2. Do I need to buy anything extra gps accessory with a hand held GPS device to be able to see all the streets in my city including minor streets?

3. I’m not too sure how these devices work. But I would assume you can tell it the street address you want to go to and it will point you in the right direction. Is this correct?
