save Garmin StreetPilot GPS favorites- How to save and transfer garmin gps favorite places.

when you’ve been using a Garmin StreetPilot i5 for almost a year and love it. you will accumulate quite a few places in the unit’s Favorites. Many of them were saved by physically being at the location of the Favorite (as opposed to entering an address).

or if you buy another garmin StreetPilot for other car and would like to have the same gps favorite places in both gps units.

the way to download gps favorite places from garmin GPS unit is using mapsource. mapsource which supplied with gps unit to connect the unit to the usb port, transfer from this unit to the next one.

I assume this is also a common issue when people upgrade their GPS units, what other methods do you use to save garmin favorites?
