when you use garmin gps, sometimes it displays “free map update expires ”. it means if you are eligible for a free map update, you will be given 30 days from the date you register your product to order the free map update. If you do not order the free map update within 30 days of registering your garmin product, you will still be given the option of ordering and paying for the map update.
