If your 2000 machine is different from your XP machine then you should ocnsider having your cd-rom on the 2000 machine checked.
sometimes when i install application on a pc and it gives me a problem with a file on the cd. I stop the install and connect a newer cd/dvd drive to that pc. that usually owrks.

I heard a rumor that if you buy a new Garmin system (Nuvi series) that does not have the most updated maps preinstalled that you can get updates for free. Is this true?
