Which GPS is the best Garmin, Tom tom, or Magellan? older hand held Magellan, and a new TomTom ONE car device. I’m not too happy with the Magellan because of tiny cracks that formed in the case which means it is no longer waterproof (I use it in my boat). This was a common problem with the SportTrak Map, but I didn’t notice it until it was out of warranty. I will replace it with a Garmin that can handle the navigation charts.

ARINC 429 format communications is primarily designed or used in larger aircraft where weight considerations are very important and a single wire can be calculated in fuel savings. As I know lowrance do not currently produce nor do they have any plans to develop this communications protocol. they do not produce TSO certified devices or panel mount instruments which may require this type of integration.

Will a lowrance lgc-12w gps module work on a eagle fishstrike 1000c? fishing graphEven tho tare basically the same company with only pixels being the big difference, the internal boards may be different due to the different pixel counts and voltage requirements.
Not sure on that one, even if the plug matched up, would the Eagle be able to read the Lowrance single.
And is the voltage the same?

why Lowrance GPS LMS-525C DF shows the land as white and not tan. Its tan on their demo ? It could be your map card. couple different cards for my Garmin. One card will show water in blue, the other shows water in white.
