Magellan GPS tracker

Magellan Maestro 3100 GPS tracker yesterday. I noticed on the box it tells you were resturants are when you drive past them. It does it for gas stations and banks but not for resturants. Does it have to be programed to show up resturants on the map as well?
The restaurants have to be recognized as a “point of interest” by the Magellan. The 3100 comes pre-loaded with fewer POI than other devices (compared to other, more expensive Magellan and Garmin units for example). It is quite possible …

What Garmin/Magellan GPS handheld is the best , worldwide usable?

One of the programs that I use and highly recommend is ExpertGPS. It can be used to transfer GPS files from several formats and brands to dissimilar brands and formats. Plus you get to download for free, all topo maps and aerial photos …
