tomtom gps provide postcode search functions. you can enter a postcode to identify a town or area with tomtom. You will then have to enter a street and house number. if you want to do a full postcode search, it requires a map of the UK, the Netherlands or Western Europe.

To search by postcode, do the following:
Tap Navigate to > Tap Address > Tap Postcode. Make sure the correct country is selected, To switch countries, tap the flag. then Enter a postcode without spaces. then Do one of the following: if you are in UK and Netherlands, Select a postcode and street. if you are in other countries, select a postcode and then enter a street name. then Enter a house number and then tap OK. now you have finished postcode search on tomtom.
