Using HTC Touch Diamond 2 GPS with Google Maps

Your HTC Touch Diamond 2 can pinpoint your exact location with its built-in GPS receiver. When you use GPS with Google Maps, you can view your current location on a map of your surrounding area and get directions to places of interest. To use GPS on HTC Touch Diamond 2 , you must have a clear view of the sky. To use Google Maps, your phone must be connected to the Internet. then you can turn on GPS in Google Maps : go to Start > Google Maps > then on the main Google Maps screen, tap Menu > Use GPS. Your HTC Touch Diamond 2 phone will start searching for GPS satellite signals. When your location is found, it is indicated by a blue dot with an arrow.

what’s more , there is a geotagging feature on HTC Touch Diamond 2. if you enable it on your HTC Touch Diamond 2 phone. Geotagging will embed a location tag into your photos so that you will know where the photo was taken.
